Wednesday Wishes

This is just a fun post that I can share books that I wish I had! This also follows BCC weekly meme, My Wishlist.

Ok, I confess I have bought all three of the previous books in the series. They look so cool though, so here's hoping they all rock!!
Blood Heat (Blood Lines, #4)
Blood Heat (Blood Lines, book 4)

Texas is heating up. . .

The summer heat wave that’s hit Rio Seco, Texas, has even the vampires complaining, but with Keira—the Kelly heir—home from Vancouver, the weather isn’t the only thing too hot to handle. Keira should be setting up her court and planning the big reception where she and her consort, vampire ruler Adam Nightwalker, will receive the magical leaders from the local area, but pomp and circumstance just aren’t Keira’s thing, especially not with trouble smoldering in her domain. A werewolf couple has mysteriously gone missing from a local pack, and when Keira is asked by their leader to investigate, she finds that some dissatisfied neighbors may have been taking—well—strong action against the wer community … action that could be repeated, and could involve Keira and those she loves. So, with the reception looming and danger fast blazing out of control, the pressure is on Keira to keep Texas safe for supernaturals. Sometimes, it’s just not that great to be Heir…

I saw this beauty on the shelf at Walmart. All I can say if the goose chills and panicked hand waving that I experienced in the store was any indication—I think I'm in love! Sadly when I ran to it, and picked it up it was hardback. *Sigh* Another paperback wait!
Infinity (Chronicles of Nick, #1)

Infinity (Chronicles of Nick, #1)

At fourteen, Nick Gautier thinks he knows everything about the world around him. Streetwise, tough and savvy, his quick sarcasm is the stuff of legends. . .until the night when his best friends try to kill him. Saved by a mysterious warrior who has more fighting skills than Chuck Norris, Nick is sucked into the realm of the Dark-Hunters: immortal vampire slayers who risk everything to save humanity.

Nick quickly learns that the human world is only a veil for a much larger and more dangerous one: a world where the captain of the football team is a werewolf and the girl he has a crush on goes out at night to stake the undead.

But before he can even learn the rules of this new world, his fellow students are turning into flesh eating zombies. And he’s next on the menu.

As if starting high school isn't hard enough. . .now Nick has to hide his new friends from his mom, his chainsaw from the principal, and keep the zombies and the demon Simi from eating his brains, all without getting grounded or suspended. How in the world is he supposed to do that?

Having only read the first book in the series, I think it's safe to say I love this series!
Arcane Circle (Persephone Alcmedi, #4)
Arcane Circle (Persephone Alcmedi, #4)

After an epic battle on the shores of Lake Erie, Persephone must now help her werewolf lover Johnny regain the magical powers locked within his mysterious tattoos. Complications keep his memory from opening wide and a name—Arcanum—is their only lead. With the Romanian lords of all Werewolves—the Zvonul—en route, Johnny becomes desperate for his magic to be unlocked. Meanwhile, the Witch Elders Council believes Seph is responsible for the death of their leader, and as if that isn’t enough, the house is being remodeled and Seph has promised her foster daughter Beverley a grand birthday party!

Ashamed yet again. I have the first one, but haven't read it yet. Awesome cover though.
Crimson Wind (Horngate Witches, #2)
Crimson Wind (Horngate Witches, book 2)

Max is a Shadowblade—a supernatural warrior created to serve and protect her witch, Giselle. She was made to kill and she’s very good at it. But there are some troubles you can’t solve with a gun and Max has run smack into one. Since the devastation of her covenstead four weeks ago and the revelation of the coming apocalypse, Max has been itching to bring her family back to the safety of Horngate. The only trouble is they think she was murdered thirty years ago, a belief Max has done everything in her power to cultivate. So she’s naturally a little worried about how they’ll feel when she tells them she’s alive and never bothered to get in touch. And oh by the way, mom and dad, she isn’t human anymore. As if that wasn’t enough to worry about, the Guardians have made a major move in their war against humanity and now it’s a race to save her family before they are swallowed by a a blood storm of wild magic. That is, if Max can even get off the starting block. First she has to deal with an enraged wannabe lover who can destroy worlds, a pissed off mage, and a pig-headed witch.

I will admit I found a lot of these books posted on ATUF for her Cover Art post, there are some that I wasn't interested in, but you guys might be. Just click here to check them out.
