Quoting on Monday

As promised I am back to Quoting on Monday. Since it's been so long since I've done one of these it's time to play catch up.

The Foretelling

The weak are cruel. The strong have no need to be.— Alice Hoffman (The Foretelling)
In the heart of a warrior queen there can be no confusion. She must at all times know who she is and what is expected of her. She is the fearless, the brave, the murderous if need be.  — Alice Hoffman (The Foretelling)
Night's Cold Kiss
. . . glancing down at her overexposed cleavage for the hundreth time to make sure the small microphone hadn't popped into view, or anything else for that matter. She looked up and caught Christian staring in the same direction.

"Hey!" She clicked her fingers in front of her face. "I'm up here."

Christian's smoldering eyes dragged up to her face and a slow smile tilted his mouth. "I can't help it, they're just so . . . there." Again his gaze dropped to her chest.— Tracey O'hara (Night's Cold Kiss)
Bone Crossed (Mercedes Thompson, #4)
"There you are, Little Wolf. Still naturally talented at causing trouble, I see." — Samual (Patricia Briggs)
Tim was dead. And he'd always been a loser. I'd be damned if I was going to be the victim of a loser— or anyone else. — Mercy (Patricia Briggs)
"I wouldn't dream of it. I've heard stories about what happens to people who laught at you. I like my coffee without salt, please." — Adam (Patricia Briggs)
