You'd think being abducted by aliens would be the worst thing that could happen to me. And you'd be wrong. Because now, the aliens are having ship trouble, and they've left their cargo of human women - including me - on an ice planet.

And the only native inhabitant I've met? He's big, horned, blue, and really, really has a thing for me...

Everything was fine until that innocent little rich girl walked into my garage. Since the second I laid my eyes on her, all I've wanted to do is get my dirty hands on her pure body.

There's one minor obstacle standing in my way, but I've got a plan. All I've got to do is claim her, and she’ll be mine forever.

Warning: This book is over-the-top, insta-love. There's nothing but steamy scenes, babies trying to be made, and an obsessed bearded alpha hero claiming a virgin who will be his forever. If you want it hot and dirty, this is it!
*whispers* There's a sweet smutty surprise at the end!

Review:

So I picked this one up to get the same giggles out of it as I did with Coach. I was also a bit curious. Sadly where I found the geek humor hilarious in Coach there wasn't too much I could laugh about here. In fact, I think the whole book took itself a little too seriously. This was a darker tale.

I did however find other things about the book funny. Such as her legs being called “stems”. Something about his penis smiling and other things. So . . . it was more because it was bad writing and horrible sexual descriptions.

There is a nice short story in the back for the other couple in this book, so that's nice. Though I have to wonder, yes the appeal is Breeders. BUT why do all the girls have to be virgins? -_- I get it, it's a genre onto itself. Yet, it always seems to be the way.

Anywho. Even for laughs I don't think I'll be reading the next book. It's going to be more awkward sex wording, breeder awkward stuff, and virgins. (Just watch the next one will have a girl who actually slept with one other guy.) Yeah, I think I'm out.

Content Warning: You guessed it sexual content.

Retiring from the NFL was the right decision, and at thirty years old, I've done things most people could only dream of. After all I've accomplished, coaching high school football should be easy...but when you've got a distraction in the form of a nerdy girl with curves, things can get complicated.
She's a student, she's barely legal, and she's my best friend’s daughter.
I didn't know what desire was until Megan. I had no idea obsession could drive someone insane, until I saw her. I wasn't prepared for the fact that once I laid eyes on Megan my life would really begin.

I have to have her, no matter what the cost. I have to breed her and bind her to me so tightly she can't ever get away. She'll be mine, even if I have to take her.

Warning: this book is ridiculous, over the top, completely unbelievable, and pretty much just about breeding the heroine. If you're okay with that, welcome to my dirty, dirty book! Just remember, I warned you.

Review:

Breeders. Who knew that was a thing? I didn't. However, after discovering the crazy world of monster erotica nothing should surprise me at this point. Childbearing has never been something that has interested me. The whole idea, ordeal, and result does not thrill me. Imagine my surprise upon finding that I was curious after reading the synopsis and wanted to find out what Breeder Erotica was like.

In the hands of another author I probably would have bashed out my brains right away. Instead I felt like I was reading a comedy! I laughed so much. From the hilarious female lead's geeky humor and the sex scenes. I'm sure I was supposed to take the sex parts more seriously, but I couldn't. Don't get me wrong the writing is not bad, however the sexual descriptions and terms weren't for me. So I ended up laughing more than anything else.

Which is fine. I think sex and comedy go hand and hand. Heck there are tons of humorous erotica themed books out there. Normally I don't find them funny. More like they're trying too hard. However, I think because Coach is probably not supposed to be a total comedy is why it felt effortlessly funny to me.

Overall I think it depends on the person as to what they'll think. While the way the female lead accepted her relationship makes for a happy ending and fits with the laughability of the book, I think it was very unrealistic. At least a punch should have come flying. Father's should always have the urge to punch the man screwing their daughters. Either way try it out, it's short and at the very least has brilliant nerd humor. (Despite my low rating I feel compelled to laugh at the next book.)

Content Warning: Well there's lots of explicit sex. So she's not a minor, but she was still in school. Laughable sexual descriptions that may annoy some. Unrealistic sexual things and resolved to ending. However, aren't all these sexy time books a fantasy? ^_-

Review: Barbarian Lover

Barbarian Lover (Ice Planet Barbarians, book 3) by Ruby Dixon

barbarian lovers

Genre: Science Fiction Erotica
Edition Reviewed: Ebook
Amazon: Paperback | Kindle
Goodreads: Barbarian Lover (3)

As one of the few humans stranded on the ice planet, I should be happy that I have a new home. Human women are treasured here, and one alien in particular has made it clear that he wants me. It's hard to push away the sexy, flirtatious Aehako, when all I want to do is grab him by his horns and insist he take me to his furs.

But I've got a terrible secret - the aliens who abducted me are back, and thanks to the translator in my ear, they can find me. My presence here endangers everyone... but can I give up my new life and the man I want more than anything?

Review:

Aehako was such a cutie in the last book, and I thought it was adorable how he crushed on Kira. I had reservations about Kira cause she seemed so negative in the first two books. Well I didn't like her any better when I got in her head. She's one of the worry warts. Just waiting to reject everyone because “everything is doomed to end!” It's exhausting.

The saving point is that there is some great humor. A certain carving makes an appearance. You know the one Liz said Aehako should make!!!!!

While I don't like Kira I did enjoy that she basically kicks ass and saves everyone. She may whine and annoy the crap out of me, but girls got guts.

Even better is that we get to see the politics of the world. That the girls are nervous about what is going to happen being at the mercy of these aliens. Especially if maybe they don't want to be breeders, or can't. Or the fear that they have to have sex. I'm happy it's addressed.

I also like seeing the world expanding more. However, I was totally disappointed how quickly everyone was to write off this one girl as running away. First off she probably couldn't' survive on her own and wouldn't be that stupid. Secondly they would have to assume she's dumb enough to do that. Thirdly, they were so willing to judge and condemn. Pssssh. No one thought, maybe something dragged her off to eat? That bothered me.

If I was that girl I'd come back pissed and wanting revenge.

Either way this was a fun installment. It made me laugh, despite not liking Kira. Which saddens me as she really did end up kicking booty! I'm probably not going to be able to read these back to back. Sure there's world building and story, but they don't escape the curse of romance/erotica story formulas.

Content Warning: Totally adult and sexual content! Sex toys! Ha-ha. Graphic murder and mass murder! (The villains get what's theirs.) Some frank discussions about sex and what questionable things the girls may—or may not—have to do to survive.

Goodreads: Barbarian Alien (2)

Twelve humans are left stranded on a wintry alien planet. I’m one of them. Yay, me.

In order to survive, we have to take on a symbiont that wants to rewire our bodies to live in this brutal place. I like to call it a cootie. And my cootie’s a jerk, because it also thinks I’m the mate to the biggest, surliest alien of the group.

BARBARIAN ALIEN is a sequel to ICE PLANET BARBARIANS. You do not have to read both in order to understand the plot, but the story will be richer if you do!

Review:

Liz immediately captured my attention. She's my favorite kind of lead. Mouthy and capable of taking care of herself. The last book left off with poor Liz being abducted by her barbarian alien. Ha-ha.

First off there are a lot of warning flags in this book. Kidnapping and such. However, a lot of things that I normally grumble about will be placed to the side. After all this world and premise is about these girls crash landing on this planet and taking parasites into their bodies so they can survive living there. Parasites who's goal is to find compatible mates to make babies ASAP. Not to mention that females are super scarce and the alien men are horny. (In more than one way.)

So yeah. Displace you mind set. True there are some minor flaws in the writing, but I got over it.

Liz's humor just kept me laughing. I laughed everywhere. When people asked me why I was laughing I would just say a funny book. (The few times they kept nagging I told them it was hilarious alien porn.) I also like that Liz doesn't want to just be taken care of by her new alien lover.

There's also more world building and some politics of the alien tribe. I enjoy that there is still a great balance of smutty times and sci-fi bits. Liz is probably going to be hard to beat. I love her so much! This is a fun and easy read. Sometimes you just need hilarious alien porn to make it all better.

Content Warning: Dirty sexual content. Let's be, honest kidnapping. The use of no as yes, which I'm calling out right here. This is breeding erotica.

3/5- Adored it, just a few minor details held it back.

Review: Nailed to the Wall

Nailed to the Wall (Powertools, book 5) by Jayne Rylon

Nailed to the Wall (Powertools #5)

Genre: Ménage Erotica
Edition Reviewed: Ebook
Amazon: Paperback | Kindle
Goodreads: Nailed to the Wall (5)

The crew is back and they’re dirtier than ever.

Five sexy men with a penchant for love and lust in any variation have formed a crew. They work hard and play harder—together. Though their partnership began in construction, renovating houses and selling them for a mint, they’ve formed a bond around their shared goal to provide women, and each other, with the ultimate sexual experience.

Over the past year, as each member discovered his soul mate—or two—they expanded the reach of their circle, lighting up their nights along with their souls. Monogamous relationships and the desire to start families threaten to put their libertine revelry on the back burner. Will the passion that bonded them fade away? How will the new crew wives cope with the complex relationship the men will always cherish and crave?

Determined to prove they stand by their men, the women decide it’s time to flex some muscle and give the crew a dose of girl power. They collude to take the guys as their horny hostages, using some big guns: boudoir photos, a pillow fight and a calculated foray into partner swapping. But will they have the guts to go through with their plans?

Warning: By Book Five in this series, fans will attest that anything goes in the crew. Be prepared for ménage in every flavor—m/f, f/f, mfm, fmf, and more—along with a slew of that's what he said jokes. No throwing tomatoes at the author, please!

Review:

Gosh that title. Fitting. Though considering all the places things happen, I don't think any walls were nailed upon. ^_-

I really enjoyed seeing all of the characters interact. I like that Rylon skills have developed the cast of characters, so well that they're really balanced here. I enjoyed the girls time together and loved them as friends. Not to mention how love is different between the couples and their friendships.

But that's not what you want to hear about.

Oh, things go down. Every kinky sexual thing you wanted these crazy menagers to do happens. Some you didn't think of and stuff you were praying for.

I will be honest though. It covers a lot of bedroom scenes. I broke it up into individual reads. Because while there was some none sex scenes, they were few and far between. I'm not a person who can just have sex scene after sex scene. Not to mention that certain things did become over the top and cliché.

Just like previous books there were moments where the sex scenes are off balanced. For instant wasn't she already on her back? When he flipped her, she's still on her back?

It was a great addition to the series. I like that the book helps to expand what these characters real lives are going through outside of the bedroom. How they deal with who they are, what they want. That they talk things through. Not to mention that every fantasy these characters have is basically done.

Sexual Content: Okay, people just assume it's all kinds of kinky cray-cray stuff.

The world’s first m/f/m/f/m/f/m/m/f…we think. You never know exactly what’s going to happen next when the crew gets back together, but it’s guaranteed to be steamy.

Review:

Man I loved-loved-loved Devon!

It was also great because I've had mixed feelings about Neil. Never disliked him, but I wasn't fond of him.  James, though, has always been awesome and I love him. Devon's Pair finally made me fall in love with Neil.

It was crazy because this threesome was sweet, intense, heartbreaking at times, and perfect. One of my new favorite threesomes. Because I love that James is gay, but he does try out women. However, with Devon involved he loves Neil enough to make room for her. Because he knows Neil loves her. Yeah, James is awesome. So it makes it sweeter when James falls in love too.

That's the hard part with threesomes as a relationship. Up until now it's all been woman and man romances. Rylon is now taking the next step. So far only a few Banks books and Oaks' have been able to bring me this type of romance. However, I haven't read one where the guy was into the other guy. So I liked my first experience. Though Powertools has never been shy about guy on guy loving.

What I like even more is the setup for the different types of love and sexual attraction the characters share for each other. Devon and Kay have chemistry. Wink-wink! Heck the whole cast has chemistry. So we kind of know what the next book will have, or we hope. Another excellent addition to one of my favorite over the top sexy time books.

Sexual Content: Well the warning is in the synopsis. It's dirty my fellow bookworms. Dirty.

Kayla's Gift (Powertools, book 3) by Jayne Rylon

Kayla's Gift (Powertools #3)

Genre: Ménage Erotica
Edition Reviewed: Ebook
Amazon: Paperback | Kindle
Goodreads: Kayla's Gift (3)

One blizzard, two days, three men to keep her warm.

"Powertools, Book 3"
Naked is Kayla's style. She's exposed to bare skin more than the average person-like when she's up to her elbows in massage oil, soothing the tired muscles of the construction crew building her new spa, a barter to offset some of the cost. Once it's finished, she plans to open a private retreat for fellow naturists.

It should be a routine service. Yet for some reason, caressing the man on her table is blurring her normally crystal-clear distinction between nudity and sexuality. And stirring up kinky fantasies involving the rest of the crew.

She never intended to share details about her lifestyle-slash-business plan, not even with the open-minded, sexy crew. But when a faulty truck engine and one hell of a snowstorm trap the three men at her cabin, heat sears away her cover story-and her inhibitions.

Cocooned in blissful isolation, Dave, Neil and James show her that passion knows no barrier, with or without clothing. Leaving Kayla wondering if two days of mutual satisfaction will ever be enough...

Warning: This book features a m/m/m/f menage hot enough to melt an entire blizzard's worth of snow and ice.

Review:

Cabin fever! We've got cabin fever. Ah, chilly blizzards and warm bodies to heat the cold. Such a common niche for the genre. However, throw in a nudist and her dream bed and breakfast for other nudists things get crazy. Add some Powertools things turn into crazy sexy orgy times!

You read that right. We might be down to just three of the guys now, but that's still a hefty number. None of the heat vanishes, and when I was reading I thought it was just (or more) steamy than the last book.

Kayla is a pretty awesome character. Though I didn't like her pity party about how she was confused by her attraction to the guys. They were nude and she wanted them. But she wanted them when they were clothed! While it was a stupid setup to start off the steamy scenes, it was stupid to make Kay seem STUPID. She's a strong, smart woman. She knows herself and who she is as a nudist. Pretty sure she'd have the basics down.

Another great entry and I like that we get to know Kay and Dave so well. Neil and James get developed as well and I'm really looking forward to their book.

Sexual Content: Okay, at this point we should all know that all kinds of naughty is going on.
