I have three major addictions: books, anime (media in general), and clothes. Today was a battle of clothes vs. books. After much organization, swearing, and folded clothes. The books have won out, by two shelves.
(Anime got its one shelf too, just couldn’t stand digging them out of boxes every time I wanted something.)
Dragon Bound (A Novel of the Elder Races) by Thea Harrison
Half-human and half-wyr, Pia Giovanni spent her life keeping a low profile among the wyrkind and avoiding the continuing conflict between them and their dark Fae enemies. But after being blackmailed into stealing a coin from the hoard of a dragon, Pia finds herself targeted by one of the most powerful-and passionate-of the Elder races.
This book wasn’t on my radar until yesterday. Everything about it just didn’t grab my attention. From the tacky cover to the so-so book description. Until it seemed like everybody started reading it.
Goodreads has been flooded my reviews and updates from readers. All with one thing in common, shock at how absolutely fantastic this book is. With such diverse tastes I haven’t seen a rating lower then 4 stars. That’s better then Black Dagger Brotherhood and Immortals After Dark. (At least in my group of friends.
Ordered this last night and I can’t wish hard enough for it to just be here already!!
